THE ROUTE OF IFITOS 2021

On Saturday afternoon, shortly before the Opening Ceremony of the Route of Truce, the Route of Ifitos 2021 took place, running from the village of Ancient Ilida to the Archaeological Site of Ilida (former archaeological collection).
The route was addressed to children from the final grades of Primary School (5th and 6th grade) and Junior High School, in an effort to connect the modern element (represented by the village of Ilida and the children) with the ancient one, embodied by the archaeological site of Ilida.

The route is dedicated to Ifitos, King of Ancient Ilida and one of the pioneers of the Olympic Truce.

Among the Primary School students, first place was awarded to Anthi Angelatou (who had also placed first the previous year) and Spiros Zogopoulos.

Among the Junior High School students, first place was awarded to Apostolos De Marinis.
