OPENING CEREMONY – ROUTE OF TRUCE 2018
On Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the context of highlighting the Truce as a prerequisite for the Olympic Games of antiquity and safeguarding Olympic values, an event dedicated to the Truce was held at the Theatre of Ancient Ilida, featuring performances by schools from Krestena. Dr. of Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art at the University of Paris VIII, Demosthenis Davvetas, presented a performance for peace. At the same time, during the event, works dedicated to sport and the Truce were exhibited. The event was to close with a concert by the band Passepartout. The cultural associations of Ilida, Kalyvia and Avgeio offered local delicacies to the guests.
